Some of my senior clients come to me with an idea or a vision to incorporate something they love into their senior portrait session. Isaac is an amazing drummer and he really wanted to highlight that in his senior pictures. We chatted and talked and landed upon using a parking garage in the Lake Norman area for the shoot. We thought about shooting in Charlotte, but parking garages can be tricky. They are often considered private property and having a big noisy drum set would probably attract a lot of attention. So we opted for something a little more chill. 

Logistics: We had to have some help. Drum sets are big and heavy. So we got helpers, a truck, and made it work! We used different lighting situations within the parking garage to give us variety of looks. And we needed  some shots with the cap and gown. We had so much fun! Isaac loved how they turned out and so did his parents. It was a win!
