5 reasons to NOT hire me as your senior photographer

1. You want to figure out how to prep for your senior session all on your own. I am incredibly detailed with my clients when it comes to prepping for their session. I help them with what to wear, what colors look best on their skin tone, how to prep their face and nails, where to shop, packing lists, and so much more. If that sounds like way too much... I am not the photographer for you.

2. You only want a quickie session. My session options run between 90 minutes to a full two and a half hours, so there’s not an option for a “quick” session with “a few” pics. I like to give my clients tons of opportunity for variety and I strive to produce images that fully represent their personalities, and I just can’t do that in a quick time period.

3. You don’t want any professional makeup or hair styling for your session. I don’t want my clients to be able to sweat off their makeup or have all that stress the day of their session. I want my clients to be able to wake up and show up the day of their session without having to worry about making their eyeliner straight, or if their brows are too dark, or if their hair falls out of its curl, so we have a professional stylist to make sure that doesn’t happen!

4. You want a cookie cutter session. If you want your pics to look like all your friends’ pics, then I’m probably not the photographer for you. I strive to make your poses natural to you and even use your fashion style to inspire the look of your pictures. Your senior pics won’t look like anyone else’s.

5. You want to look like an AI filter in your pics. Our goal at Allison Hinman Photography is to edit your senior pictures with the REAL YOU in mind. We capture the correct colors, exposure, pose and composition in camera which allows us to use minimal editing steps to perfect the final image, resulting in an image that is the most true to you.
